If you love to go for trekking tours and this time, you have a taken leave of eight days from your office for a trekking tour, but not being able to decide on a place, then it is suggested to opt for the state of Uttaranchal, India. Pangarchulla Trek:
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi. Check in at a hotel in Delhi. Night stay at a hotel in Delhi.
Day 2: Take the train to Haridwar from Delhi at 7.00 am. Arrival at Haridwar at 11.00 pm. Travel to the camp, which has been set up by the banks of the River Ganges, near Rishikesh. The activity of this day includes rafting on the Ganges River after lunch. In the evening, be at the banks of the River Ganges to watch the ‘aarti ‘(a prayer ceremony). Night stay at a camp.
Day 3: Travel through the Garhwal Himalayas and enjoy the surrounding view as well as the view of the Alakananda River. On route, explore the small townships.
Day 4: Avail the cable car to arrive at Auli at 2750 meters. From Auli, you would get a full view of the Nanda Devi. Trek through the rhododendron and the oak forests to arrive at Gorson. Rest for a while. Descend down to Tali, a waterbody. Night stay at a camp.
Day 5: Trek up beyond Tali. To arrive at Tali, you are required to trek through a lush green meadow that offers a mind blowing view of several mountain peaks as well as mountains. These are Nilakanth ( 6596 meters), Nilgiri Parbat ( 6474 meters), Dunagiri ( 7066 meters), Abigamin ( 7355 meters) and Rataban ( 6166 meters), to name a few.
Day 6: Trek up to the camp, set up at an altitude of 605 meters. Night stay at a camp.
Day 7: Arrive at the summit to watch the sun rise over the Himalayan Mountain ranges. It’s going to be a sight, which you would treasure for the rest of your life. Evening is the time for a joyous celebration for a successful climb up to the summit.
Day 8: After having your morning breakfast, travel back to Haridwar. Arrival in Haridwar in the evening. From Haridwar, board the train at 6.10 pm for Delhi. It’s a journey of 8 hours and 30 minutes. Arrival in Delhi. From Delhi, take a flight for your onward journey.
