Mentioned below are the details about the Top Trek: Wild Ladakh Trek. This trekking tour extends for a period of 23 days.
Wild Ladakh Trek:
Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar. Check in as well as overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar.
Day 2: Travel to Leh from Srinagar. Check in at a hotel in Leh. Overnight stay at a hotel in Leh, which is known to be the largest town of Ladakh.
Day 3: Sightseeing of a few of the places. These are the Shey monastery, the Thiksa Gompa monastery and the Hemis monastery.
Day 4: Be driven to Uleytokpo, a place well known for the orchards of apricots and a visit to the monastery of Alchi on route.
Day 5: Travel to Lamarayu. Make a trip to the monastery, the oldest monastery of Ladakh. The construction date of this monastery dates back to the 10tth century.
Day 6: Trek through the valley and then turn towards the east side to arrive at Priinkitila. Come down from the pass to walk to get to Wanla village. Night stay at the camp.
Day 7: Trek to arrive at the village of Penji. From this village, trek up the valley of Ripchar to reach HInju.
Day 8: Valley trek continues. Night stay at a camp in Konzela.
Day 9: Be prepared for trekking on the steep slopes of Konzela. While you trek, do not miss out on the opportunity to take a look at the Zanskar range that offers a breathtaking view of its own self. It is to be mentioned here that the Zanskar range lies to the north of the Himalayan mountain ranges. Camp beside the Lanak River.
Day 10: Trek through the left bank of the river to arrive at the Sumda Village. Once you arrive at the village, walk up the ridge to the Dunduchunla pass. Decend to be at the Chilling village. Camp by the Chilling village.
Day 11: Avail the help of the pull cable to cross the Zanskar River. Trek towards the Siku camp.
Day 12: Full day trekking. Cross the river of Markha. Arrival at the Chalak village. Camp at the Markha village.
Day 13: Trekking starts and on route, visit the Humlung monastery. Arrival at the Hankar village. Trek up a narrow valley to get to the Thachungdste.
Day 14: Start trekking from Thachungste and follow the steep to be at the Nimaling. The fantastic view of the Kangyassey peak and the lush green pastures of Nimalun, is responsible for the exotic appeal of this place.
Day 15: Relax the whole day. Start trekking up the left side of the Kangyassey peak.
Day 16: Trek to reach the Kongamarula, the highest point as far as this trekking tour is concerned. Fantabulous view of the Karakoram mountain ranges as well as the Stok range. Come down to Chogolo. Night stay at the camp, set up in Chogolo.
Day 17: Just follow the meandering Shang Topko stream Trek up to Shangla situated at an altitude of 4900m. Arrival at Shangla. Descend to the camp.
Day 18: Come down to the Matho village. Drive back to Leh, Arrival at Leh and on route make a visit to the museum and the Stock palace.
Day 19: Relax at Leh or if you wish, you can explore Leh.
Day 20: Opt for the activity of river rafting. If you are not willing to go for this activity, then you can relax.
Day 21: Drive back to Srinagar. From Srinagar, take a flight back to your homeland.
